Foundation of Financial Economics
This seminar focuses upon fundamental issues in financial economics such understanding utility theory, state contingent claims, capital asset pricing and other classical finance models, option pricing, and general framework of behavioral finance.
Corporate Finance
Theoretical and empirical frameworks for corporate financing and budgeting decisions including capital structure, dividend policy, corporate governance, financing, and mergers and acquisitions are the topics of this research seminar.
Investment/Asset Pricing
This seminar focuses upon theoretical and empirical frameworks for modern investments and portfolio management that include classical and behavioral explanations of capital market phenomenon.
Empirical Methodologies in Finance
This seminar examines methodologies used in financial economics. The focus is upon time-series analysis, cross-sectional and panel regressions, event study methodologies, maximum likelihood approach, simulations, and generalized method of moment estimations.
