Finance Decision Science

The Finance major provides students with the necessary foundation to sit for and successfully complete the Level I Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) exam. The curriculum also provides a solid foundation for the successful completion of the Level 2 exam. Students recently completing the Finance major accepted positions in both the public and private sector filling positions such as credit analyst, financial advisor, hedge fund accountant, legal and estate specialist, and financial analyst.

Courses required for the major are:

  • BUS 302 - Intermediate Accounting II
  • BUS 321 - Security Analysis
  • BUS 322 - Financial Institutions and Markets
  • BUS 420 - Advanced Corporate Finance
  • BUS 421 - Speculative Markets
  • BUS 424 - Fixed Income Security Analysis
  • BUS 428 - Multinational Finance
