Since its founding in 1923, the College of Business Administration (CBA) has existed as a leader on the forefront of business education, research and outreach. The CBA plays an important role in shaping and fostering economic development in Rhode Island and beyond, with some of the most recognized leaders in state, national and global business among its graduates. As the first accredited business school in the state, with the first accredited accounting program in the Northeast, the CBA attracts a significant number of students each year for both its undergraduate and graduate programs. The College is ranked among the best in the nation in the guide book "Best 290 Business Schools, 2009 edition" released this month by The Princeton Review providing objective third-party verification for the quality and distinctiveness of our full-time MBA program. A number of ambitious initiatives are currently underway within the College to support its students, faculty and programs of instruction, research and outreach.
