Tiered Classroom Technology

The "tiered" classrooms at Ballentine Hall offer:

• tiered-seating
• touch-screen controls
• a projector and screen
• a document camera
• a computer to the instructor
• electronically controlled lights/shades
• an audio-visual closet
• wired/wireless Internet access
• 43 and 51 person seating capacity

In order to get the most out of this equipment, the College has made available instructional booklets tailored for each classroom. The booklets are published, and are available in the audio-visual closets in each room. In addition, an Adobe PDF version of the booklet is available to download. Adobe PDF documents can be opened with the no-cost Adobe Reader, also available for download.

The seating capacities for the standard classrooms are as follows:

Classroom 114: 43 seats
Classroom 115: 51 seats
