Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research, Service and Administrative Support
The Hall of Fame and Awards Committee of the College of Business Administration is seeking nominations of faculty and administrative support staff for this year’s Dean’s Excellence Awards in the areas of Undergraduate Teaching, Graduate Teaching, Research, Service and Administrative Support. The intention of these awards is to recognize the outstanding contributions of faculty and staff in support of the mission of the College. Recipients will receive $2000 in recognition of their outstanding contributions within the award categories. A College of Business Administration faculty or staff member is eligible to receive only one award each year.
To be eligible for an award for teaching, research, or service, a nominee must be a full or part-time faculty member or an administrator of the College. Part-time faculty members will have had to teach for at least two academic years to be eligible for an award. Tenured and non-tenured faculty members are eligible for these awards.
To be eligible for the excellence award in administrative support, nominees must serve in a full-time supporting role in the College and must have demonstrated excellence in service to students, faculty and the administrative team.
Nominations for these awards may come from faculty, staff, students, alumni and other friends of the College of Business Administration. Nominators and nominees will be asked to provide materials that support their candidacy for an award. The Hall of Fame and Awards Committee will review nominees and supporting materials and forward its recommendations to the Dean of the College.
