Business Student Advisory Council (BSAC)
The objective of the Business Student Advisory Council (BSAC) is to provide a link among administration, faculty and students. Students serve in a advisory capacity and at the pleasure of the Dean.
Students are selected from the various majors in the to serve on the BSAC. Names are solicited from faculty and other students. Size of the Council will depend on the number of nominations.
The Dean of the College of Business Administration meets three times a semester with the Council to relay events that are happening that affects the College both inside and outside the University. The Dean asks Council members for advice on such matters a curriculum, teaching, or any other issue deemed necessary.
Council members may be asked to organize projects, such as Career Day, that would help other students in the College. Council members are also expected to provide suggestions for bulletin boards and provide information that fellow students need to know. Thus, they serve as a main component of the communication dissemination process for the College.
The goal of the Council is to give students a voice in the functioning of the College of Business Administration. The sharing of information, listening to each other, and working together will strengthen the relations among administration, faculty and students.
